Daegwallyeong Sheep Ranch |
When we think about Korea, we are definitely gonna be thinking about K-Pop, fashion, beautiful mountains and food. Well to be honest, sheep are probably not on the top of the list
when it comes to the top tourist destinations, right?
Put the Daegwallyeong Sheep Ranch on top of your top
destinations list because this sheep ranch isn't just an ordinary sheep ranch.
Located in Korea's Taebaeksan Mountains, it's a place that
you need-to-pay a visit!
It's very unlike anywhere else in Korea because it's like a
Switzerland in Korea.
How cool is that!
It's a place that's very calming and relaxing, plus it's
also an inspiring place because it has a very magnificent landscape with green
and grassy field, peaks and not to forget, sheep.
Established in 1988, the Daegwallyeong Sheep Farm raises
sheep on an area of 195 k㎡, and is privately owned.
There are
many small to large animal farms in Pyeongchang, but the Sheep Farm is the only
farm that raises sheep.
The farm features more than 200 sheep! It's like a heaven, but full with sheep!

The Sheep Farm is open all year round, and the best part is, it's free. The most
ideal time to visit is between June and August during the grazing season where you
can see the sheep herds and various wild plants during this time.
